George was fun today. Runs are definitely growing. LG likely would have been a good ski, but there was wind slab development and I know how steep it is at the top early season when standing on windscoured hard snow. Hiked up a closed out alley to the right of LG and did two runs. Best was able to keep skis on all the way to the car. Sherby skied really well-powder run. Only saw one other fellow up in the bowl outside my partner

yup you can see the little gully we were climbing up. Good looking snow there on your side probably not as many rocks as skiing the climb down out of the bowl

Chic Chocs are the real deal. $275cdn is for lodging only? Assuming I'd need to bring my own titties and beer?

Yeah 275 is the hut fee. Other costs include food, bag transport, getting to Gaspe and possibly 1 hotel night or some kind of car camping along the way.

The bag transport is 30ish CDN each way. Its ideal to try and limit yourself to 2 bags. Garbage has to be packed out so good food planning is important. Other option is to pulk your gear in for the 12k hike to the hut. We talk about it every year but never do it, because beer.

Gaspé is far and the drive can be an adventure, but it has always been well worth it if you stay the week.

Happy to provide any other details on the board or via pm/gmails

Bet there aren't many boats still on the water right now...
The Hatter threading the narrows of Killinton

90 minutes lapping the wheel yesterday in the spring like snow. Might try to get out today before the freeze and crowds show up.

    Pretty sky this am

Today was FAF. April snurfing type snow and nice light. No crowds at all (not expecting that).

Hopefully things are not rink-esque in the morning. Peace fools! Happy holidays and good times to youze all.

Snowing in Franconia NH now but rained last night. Still snow on the ground. Probably skin up again this morning. Yesterday I skied trails that had only natural snow. Cream cheese.

it seems like Killy just got washed out, maybe a little snow this morning. Sugarloaf seems like the place to be with 2 10” storms
