I could care less about the two tracks, but if I saw someone set a track I sure as hell wouldn't waste energy making my own near identical one.

Upper mountain stayed socked in most of the day and I didn't feel like skiing in clouds. For a change of pace I threw the skis on the pack and hiked over and up Steins woods. Some folks I chatted with thought my labeling it a Faux Tux hike was funny. 35% firm snow that I was glad to be in ski boots to kick into it.
Upper 2/3rds was firmish, could have used a bit more sun or heat, lower 1/3rd was nice.

What a beautiful stretch of weather this week. Planning on some riding but mostly looking to skin what's left at Stowe (probably the easiest access in terms of parking; the lower 1/4 of Nosedive has melted out but Liftline still goes to crossover) . Anyone else getting out to harvest the remaining corn?

MSS just posted that they would re-open if gov allows it. Of course i just put on the storage wax and put the boards away...
Still not sure it will be cool for us dirty city folk to travel up there if/when they do re-open.27° 18°
