Someone finally decided that the magic carpet next to the hotel was stupid and a waste.

Much better to move it to the base lodge learn to ski area. Replacing the ridiculously short carpet they had there. It got A LOT of use there this year and I think the little kids enjoyed skiing more than 20 feet before they had to go back up.

nice! and yes indeed. i re-started my season late but with sun coming at least one more last day at local hill should be worthwhile if downhike-heavy.

i realized you posted two views of same feature... very cool.

Solimano says the K1 Lodge is going to be used for 20/21 and the tear down will happen next spring. Slim chance of any spring skiing on SS. Snow is going to last well into June, Mag/K-Zone Spring 20 tailgate when shit opens up.

I noticed the F35's were especially active yesterday, normal morning flight then another 3 or 4 went up in the afternoon which is unusual.

Meanwhile, on the opposite side of the mountain which did not exist in '83 (or prior to last year):

Really glad she didn't do anything silly. Smart girl but if she had a survival contest in the woods against the real life Carrie Bradshaw I am not sure who would win.

First of all, if she is east of Scranton PA she’s got bigger problems. Second, yeah it’s a copperhead for sure. Rattlesnakes and copperhead are the only venomous snakes in that area and the diamond shaped head for sure says venomous. Rattlesnake would be pretty obvious even if it was too young to have developed rattles etc. also that snake is too big to not have developed.
