Opening weekend for these resorts and it did not disappoint at Silver. Looks like another system is moving in mid week so the skiing should be pretty darn good for this shindig.

Bump, 1 week out. Decent skiing at both venues, should radically improve by this weekend. Who's attending?

Silver skied amazing opening weekend and this incoming storm will open a bunch of terrain that was real close. Saturday should be full on pow day. Deep turns will be on the menu for both places.

Im a strong maybe. Was planning on hitting Bend/Bachelor but might end up at home here instead. I'd be up for hitting one or both days.

Wow, at last look, from tonight through Saturday day, NOAA is predicting 34-56" of new snow at Schweitzer from this incoming storm with more snow coming throughout the weekend. That's going to cover up just about everything so your summit is looking to be well timed! Now I just hope NOAA is actually right for a change.

Yeah hoping the NWS is right, but as warm as the lower elevations are supposed to be, I’m afraid of it being mostly rain.

The committee is watching the freezing levels closely, and may be moving this to Schweitzer both Saturday & Sunday due to potential of the R-word at the more southerly hill. Stay tuned.
