By seriously, with IKON, a day at DV with maggots would be loads of fun....

What are DV crowds like on a weekend with some fresh snow? Better or worse than waiting in LCC/BCC traffic?

If I can make it to this shindig, I'm in.

DV crowds are not bad in the general scheme of things. Last year, DV was getting a bit crowded, especially on holiday weekends. The best thing about DV is that it is never really crowded. Last year, even during Pres. weekend, I was able to ski X-files without seeing another skier in the trees. They limit the number of skiers on the hill. A great number of skiers love groomers and are staying on or near the mountain. They don't traverse to the goods, and they never get into a car/truck.
LCC/BCC traffic is the worst. In Park City, people complain if it takes 20 minutes to get from I-80 to the resorts. In LCC/BCC, you have the lines that begin before the 7 on Wasatch Blvd. Then it can take 30 mins to get from the mouth of the canyon to the resorts. More than once, after exiting 215 I have waited in stop and go traffic for an hour + to ski Snowbird. One time, it took me 3.5 hrs. to get from Snowbird to Park City.

We only get 1 DV day with the Wasatch benefit this year, I'd be up for using it on a mag day.

And I agree. DV on a pow day is pretty great.
