Why would you go to a taco place and not get tacos?

    Jimboy’s Tacos

^ not a single person in line ordered tacos. I am a nacho connoisseur. If I had seen some solid street tacos I would have supplemented my nachos. Instead I walked across the street to In N Out.

Chips with sour cream and 8 pieces of diced tomatoes?

    Where’s the double-chalupa queso bomb?

I'm pretty sure irul was drunk posting when this started, but it got attention and he doubled down on it. Jimboys Taco's are similar to Jack in the box tacos. But they come with a bit more filling so you get the shits faster.

Sure, they're different than taco Bell when you're faded and variety is nice, but garbage is garbage.

I stopped at the Jimboy's in Northern Auburn once.
    Ordered their monster bean burrito.
While tt was massive and stuffed with refried beans, it was also saturated with gas station squeeze cheese instead of real cheddar or jack.
    Never went back.

I had the craving again. I went yesterday and had three regular beef tacos. Awesome. These are the White Castle of tacos, either you get it or you don't. And I am talking gas...because these things give you gas afterwards...pitty the people around you. Goood think I was home alone working in the garage, yesterday afternoon, LOL.

So I was driving back from LA last weekend and decided I had to stop in at one of their Socal spots and try it out. The big mistake was not paying attention to the address- was right off the freeway but turned out to be on the main drag right outside Disneyland. Fack! No parking, except valet parking at an adjacent low-end motel. The place was a hole in the wall with no seating. Expensive, which I assume was Disney pricing. Food was pretty good. They had a bacon avocado quesadilla on special so I had to get that, plus a taco. Both were good. I liked the parmesan or whatever it is they sprinkle on the taco shells. Would probably hit it up again if I'm nearby one of the other ones, but don't think I'd go out of my way. I have another go-to mexican place in San Juan Capistrano that I consider the bext mexican in Socal that I will still stop at instead.

^^ Yup, the quesadilla had everything I wanted in it and nothing I didn't. The taco was good too.

You got it! SJC was probably too easy a clue. I'll have to check out Primo food mart next time I'm in that area. Thx

Another favorite of mine are the tacos at Primo Food Mart off the 78 in Vista. They rival the Tijuana taco stands right at the border.

We've got one of those here in OB as well off Sunset Cliffs/Voltaire. My local favorite.

The super secret pro best tacos in SD is La Tiendita mexican market off Clairemont Mesa. The taco bar is only open Sat/Sun, limited hours. Well worth it if you're in the area on the weekend.

    Jimboy’s Tacos

This is not a thread about “best tacos.” This thread is about Jimboy’s tacos and their cheesy, greasy goodness.

Stick to the topic or PM Rontele about banging digitaldeath’s mom

Any of you SD residents had the shrimporizo taco at Mariscos El Pulpo? Man that’s one good taco.

So is the subject just Jimboys tacos, or any disgusting, greasy, cheese taco? DD's mom would qualify.
