Yeah, there were Qanon levels of upset and analysis on r/Portland. Some people asked Juanita's about it, Juanita's denied they had made any changes, and a million conspiracy theories bloomed.

San Juan Salsa sounds like it will be my jam if / when I make it up there. Listings this month have been so thin that we're getting kind of discouraged, but we'll see. Hoping that a bunch of people are waiting for January to list.

I stand behind how good their deluxe mix is. The cashews alone could be my sole food source during the holidays (in addition to cocktails of course).

My southern wife gets real excited to get plain peanuts every Christmas, I don't get it but it's a family tradition as you said.

Makes me feel better about my habit. I'm just a connoisseur - not a total freak about snacking. So far.

I missed that whole dust-up. We're regular adherents to Juanita's and didn't notice any change in the product, though that could be because we're getting ours from their HR factory.

And I'm envious of your move. I would love to make the trek east and find a place out there. I'm over Portland in nearly every way possible.

These are interesting. Not spicy enough if you eat them by the handful. However if you eat then one or two at a time they are better. Still not worthy of the 3 pepper logo though. I like them on a salad best, so that takes them out of the munchies category. The reason they don't work by the handful is that you end up eating all the spice on the first few chews and then you have a mouthful of flavorless chickpea mash.

Heh, that is the correct order. My goto is still jalapeno.

I used to be a fan of Luau BBQ, Maui Onion, and Sasquatch, but now I find them too sweet.

On the vinegar and salt train: Tim's have a very nice bite, and Blue Diamond's almonds should all be the salt and vinegar style, but we've been surprisingly happy with Kroger's house brand chips lately, too. They're no Tim's, but they'll do in a pinch--more than I can say for Stacy's and a few other brands.

    Anyone else?

They were very tasty! Then the price went up to $14/bag ( I thought it was a typo). Now I cannot eat them any more.
