Seemed like a good day to avoid all the canyons. Couldn’t even find a spot to park in millcreek.

If you can't enjoy all the snow, think about the nice phat base it's building for when you can.....

I don't know man. I left nj to avoid 4 hour ski commutes. That's what I'm hearing some were yesterday just down...likely meant 5 hour ski commutes total up/down. Very not worth it for like 18 miles. Something gotta change.

I know it’s a weekend I know we got feet of new snow. I knew traffic was gonna be a cluster. But didn’t know it would be this bad.

super floaty turns yesterday in silver fork! the 10 yr old got out 10 min early so in the car at 3:20. on the road at 3:45. out of the canyon at 4:50 > totally worth it and would easily repeat. props to the folks in the altima that realized the problems they were about to cause and turned around and headed down. today should be interesting to say the least...

Sent one out for Mikey. Stay safe out there. Slides hit the road out of white pine. Lcc closed until further notice.

Damn, the whole situation’s a huge bummer. RIP Mikey. That’s an awesome tribute.
In other news, estimated r reopening of LCC is 2:30 after white pine slid and pushed a car off the road. All parties ok and country club in effect! Enjoy it fuckers! There's nothing better than sliding down snow, and flying through the air

Snowbird was awesome till I smacked on the rock, double ejected and one my skis ran into bottomless powder. Ski is 19' Sakana 181 with Atomic Shift.

About 10 cars were waiting for spruces to finish being plowed at ~630. Stupid deep once we got up there - many thanks to those hearty souls who put into the skin track.
Bumper to bumper heading up the canyon from spruces down to s-bends at ~10 when we were heading down - where do these people think they are going to park??

Was the car slid off with a natural? I assume yes as they wouldn't be shooting over an open road. Scary shit.
Being slid off the road was always something I tried keeping out of my thoughts driving that road.

Hi notch to the creek was likely the best run of my life...and the 2nd and 3rd laps were right up there too. Couldn't see, couldn't breathe, over the head blower pow.
Look closely and you can see my buddy's gloves:

Fantastic day up at solitude. It's amazing how well that place spreads out the crowds. Barely sat in a liftline all day. Nailed the honeycomb rope drop, skied 3 untracked runs to kick off the morning. 2 hours up, 45 minutes down, and I'm happy with that. Definitely a junkshow this morning particularly at the 190-wasatch blvd junction. Saw someone taking a shit off the side of the road halfway up BCC and luckily a cop behind us lit them up.
Hope everyone got some! One of the better resort days I've had in a few years
Admittedly you don't know shit about Utah, just another clueless rog touron you are.
