I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

From the top of Pipeline looking towards SLC: figured some folks here could use some beta on how the alpine zone is holding up with recent temps: Click image for larger version.

finally got out again after weeks of dragging my feet. just did a 3rds on friday AM. top 1/2 skied well, bottom half suncupped. Kinda weird and interesting making hop turns down greeley hill to avoid death by suncup

Finagled a day from work on Friday and saw the right WX for a trip down to the La Sals for some Tuk action. Had the whole place to myself, pretty awesome, almost perfect corn. Skied Tuk twice (North and East face), plus a bonus shot down one of the Cleavers... pretty okay little day! Snowline was around 10700, VERY close to being able to drive all the way down to Gold Basin, however my ethics made me do the dry start from Geyser Snowpark lol

    Ho Lee Fuk Dat Vuuuu

    I know I know , i need friends haha

Saturday went to Deseret for the FRANK, a lot of folks toolin around! However plenty of space for everyone. Managed to tag the summit and get Temple couloir and both Twins, despite the rockfall in the skiers left one. Good snow for the most part, variable in places and on the apron with some grabby ACL snow, but fun nonetheless. Met two crushers up there that let this straggler tag around with them and share some laughs, good times. Snow line is around 9100.

Very nice! I need to get out to deseret soon.

I've shifted gears a little bit though, I'm sitting in my camper at Starvation reservoir right now.

well done d-roc! how was temple couloir? i've always looked up at it but it's an intimidating line - much bigger than either of the twins. i'm surprised to see so much snow up there still!

We're at mountain view. First time out so we wanted electric for our shakedown. Campgrounds are about half full. Wind is brutal, hoping its calm enough to SUP tomorrow am. Hell, I don't have AC in my house so I'm loving in luxury!

It was variable , it is big so the sun played around in there making some spots stiffer than others, had a little bit of everything except pow!

was kinda feeling like I might be done, but woke up wanting to get out this morning. sorry snowaddict / brutah I didn't text, but we should hit this later this week. skiing great til the lower 1/2 of the apron. I also ran into your buddy the mayor of suicide, who I remember from black pearl or white pearl (whichever one we skied last year)

2 nice soft laps in the lane and seeing all the snow left on the north half has rejuvenated my skiing mojo, let's get out!

It's no worse than the skier's right Twin. Narrower but not really any steeper. Get after it.

Agreed, a little hard to see into the main chute from the skiers right branch at the top, but wide-ish and mellow once you drop in.

Hell ya! Glad to hear the Mayor was up there! I don't think anyone has skied suicide as much as MJ has, that's why he's the mayor haha
I definitely saw your strava this morning and was a little bit jealous.
