Definitely more of an Alta line, same as keyhole. From the tram you have to bypass a lot of good skiing to get there. Part of the hype, is that it’s been forbidden fruit for so long. Back when the bird used to do the whole Peruvian gulch backcountry only in the spring you could do baldy chutes to zone five to the tram. That was absolute money on spring pow days for 2 laps before the sun got to it. Coma chute proper isn’t anything great. But black jack chute and the little knuckle roll to spines into the run out is a terrain feature we don’t have elsewhere in lcc (that little band holds snow on a really steep roll over pitch that our low density snow doesn’t usually stick, to but was basically sun crust unskiable snow on this latest opening). White cliffs chute, directly skiers right of the current rope line far skiers right is the real gem (starts with a mandatory 10 foot air) but is currently closed (as it was in 2011-12, but was legit in the days of Peruvian gulch backcountry only). I’ll never complain about new steep terrain openings.
