This has to be the same beater who was sitting behind me at the GMD Saloon yesterday who kept loudly saying to his NYC buddies "what sort of half decent resort doesnt open with EIGHT inches of snow...so pathetic!".

Hopefully he will go tell all his friends LCC sucks

Heady bro doesn’t know where the bird feeder is.

Has a Toledo slide hit the parking lot kicker and jumped the Pdog yet?

Went for a quick stretch of the legs at 8k feet in a zone near PC and encountered miserable breakable crust. At least the dogs had fun and are now asleep. Stay safe out there!Click image for larger version.

I first skied there in ‘88, haven’t spent a lot of time on that side of the hill. Is that where the beaters hangout? I’m more of a thirds, highboy, backside cat. Sorry Joe.

WASATCH STOKE, CONDITIONS, OBSERVATIONS and ASSORTED DRIVAL 19-20

Went to Deer Valley and caught a couple of rope drops. Pretty fun. This snow makes me feel right at home, heh.

We did see a guy hit a tree and was seriously messed up... had to go fetch patrol. Sobering.

WASATCH STOKE, CONDITIONS, OBSERVATIONS and ASSORTED DRIVAL 19-20

That morons post from alta is sad. I spent 2 days on inter lodge with a 6 and 4 year old back in April 2010. Was it fun, kind of, we still talk about it today, but superior slid and wrecked a bunch of cars and it’s sobering the power that much snow has and how hard patrollers work to keep us skiing. Alta should hit that moron with a ban hammer . Some people are too self important.
Edit- is that meat heads name really Tom Calamari? Figured it was a Long Island or Jersey moron before I even saw the name. Has to be a troll right

reminds me of the Early April 2010 interlodge where we had to dig out our front door wearing beacons at the old snowpine, and had to have others on standby beeping out of harms way. I bet we see emmas/flag go over the road here too. pretty wild.

What a crazy storm. I can’t imagine how exhausted ski patrol is going to be in another 24 hours. Stay safe out there.

Mid elevation skied surprisingly well this morning. A little surprised at the lack of cars at the usual parking. Good luck and thx to snow safety peeps up in lcc.
