No issues as of last weekend, looks like people were there this AM too. As of early Novemember (just post storm) the road was bare, so I'm sure it's even more bare now.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Alta should be open to uphill thru the weekend. But that’ll probably be the end of it. Expect it to close Monday to begin set up for opening. Things can always change. But you’ll at least get this weekend.

From Twitter: Alta Ski Area will close to all uphill travel at 6:00 pm Saturday night (11/23) as we prepare for our opening on the 29th. Access to Grizzly Gulch and the Catherine's area via the Summer Road will remain open. Please stay North of the Supreme lift line.

Kind of a random insert, but here goes... anyone looking for a roommate in SLC this winter? Have a work colleague at my environmental non profit looking to relocate from D.C. to Salt Lake for the winter, definitely not the guy who's gonna join you for Superior dawn patrol missions but is a nice dude psyched to be skiing more. If you're looking for such, shoot me a PM. Thanks! Looking forward to swinging through for a ski myself in Jan.

Quite the Conga line headed up Collins this morning. I stuck to the groomer on the way down but it looked like a few soft turns for the more daring.
