3-piece alternative to Lange RX LV?
Tried to get my foot into them this morning for patrol and couldn't. I don't want to be resigned to indoors work.
Need something I can get my foot in while I do PT to regain dorsiflexion in my ankle after a break this summer. Current boots are RX130 LV. Touring boots are Hawx Ultra XTD. Both in 27.5. 282mm long foot, 99mm wide, average instep (278mm). Skinny ankle and meager calves.
Open to recommendations on things to hunt down, or if anyone has something they need to get rid of. Cheap Full Tilt classics? Kryptons? Some 2-piece that is way easier to get into?

The KR2 Krypton has a stance most similar to the Lange. The Full Tilt has much more ramp in the boot and more forward lean.
Click. Point. Chute.

The Roxas I got last spring are the easiest slip on boot I've ever tried.

Anything with a walk mode I find easier to get into, even if you're not intending to use the walk mode that walk mode kind of sucks.
I.e. not sure about fit but I like my cochise because I can get my feet in them... don't use the walk mode for anything else.

If there’s any way to get a pair of daleboots, that’s by far the best boot for easy in/out dealing with injury issues.

Try Lange XT, with walk mode and everything the throat is less tight in my opinion.

Buy some used RX130, even a 100mm last, stretch it out, cut it up so you can get your foot in there. Buy your self a boot shell spreader tool to help you get in and out of your boot.

Is it just entry? Maybe a heated boot bag?

I was able to squeeze into the OG Scarpa Maestrale RS a few years back when I had a badly sprained ankle and a broken foot I didn't learn about until later. IIRC getting out hurt more than getting in.

Interesting. Are they all like that, even the ones with a walk mode?
I have a heal lift in my Lupos because of their shitty upright stance. It's not the best. Really the toe is too high compared to my old boots, but there isn't really a way to lower it because reasons.

Thanks all for the ideas. I managed to score some NOS Krypton Fusions with ID liner today for a benjamin. They feel like they'll get me through while I figure out longer term plans (or fall in love with Kryptons).
