Official that Crystal is closed Saturday. With Alpental reporting 16" at top of Chair 2 (0" at base) overnight and switching to snow tonight, I think it's fair to say that Snoqualmie is going to be crushed by Ikoners tomorrow. Looks like I'll need to start out at 6am to make the normally 40min drive to Lot 4 so my daughter can make her lessons.

The photo of the bridge is crazy. Hope the house along the white weathers the flood.

Thanks for all the info on the status at Crystal. I was able to cancel my hotel and get a full refund. I will have to try again in March.

    Then there's this:

Don't worry, I'm sure a Subaru with bald all-season tires will spin out in front of a semi causing it to jackknife and shut everything down for awhile in the morning.

So with no access whatsoever to Rainier and Crystal closed likely all weekend I'm guessing Hyak will be inundated with uphill skiers and Ikon passholders and the line for chair 2 will extend to the Pettigrew

Decent skiing at Mission this morning. A bit more new than the 1”-trace they reported. A little wet from the mist but soft turns everywhere. Dense wind blown 4-6”. No grabby snow down low, just wet loose granular.

No mudslides or flooding on the drive.

    That place was a funkhole.
Think it's further down than that? Where the old bridge "stump" used to be on the gravel pull off by river.

Hyak will be too wet/flat for the Ikon folk (at least that's my hope). I'm sure the drive up will be entertaining.

Well that burst of snow was incredibly short-lived. Tomorrow's gonna be interesting and not in a good way

Did a lil night skiing at summit, had a great time besides falling in an unmarked exposed spot in the middle of a run

Wild numbers. I'd guess 3" at the bottom of Hyak and 18" at the top of 2. Alpental would be good today if it wasn't a weekend, but as it is, it'll still be good today. Seems to be a decent bond and minimal crust
