It was a good Lhasa day.

And for you Baker mags, keep a weather eye out for Thing #2. he's a local there this year. Probably wouldn't mind some local knowledge.

He said the first run on the backside on the 184 Billy’s were some of the best turns of his life. I have to agree. The snow is amazing.

WSP was checking chains at Denny Creek on my drive up tonight. Highway was a mess for the five miles prior to that but fine once you started heading uphill. Full on nuking now, tomorrow is primed to be an epic gong show. Leave early, drive safely and I'll see ya in lot4!

^ Hooray, glad it's looking good up there at Alpental. We will be there on Sundays the whole season starting this Sunday. The child is in the ARC program this year. Legoskier and I are hoping to hook up with people who would be willing to show us the areas beyond the gates this year. Also looking forward to BBI.

Well, I was half right today. 2 Chairs and a hike to start the morning were the only things not wind held.

Thought about you today and hoped you’d see this post. He was ripping on them today. I think they will push him or beat him up in the process.

Padded seats delivered today. Full on storm pow with copious refills and an old school country club vibe with Armstrong being essentially ski on and le padded maybe a 6-8 chair wait. First shot six of the season was a memorable choke fest full of pow inhalation.

Ch2 shut down a bit early as all the new was starting to produce reactive storm slabs. If this keeps up overnight. Patrol is going to have their work cut out for them tomorrow

Sunday opening for the Yak Yard. These low freezing levels should really help get it into shape.

Pulled out of the sno park on the Blvd at 630 this morning to a giant line of cars already. Apparently you have to leave Seattle at 4am to not sit in traffic.

The forecast wasn't lying, it has dumped bigly at almost an inch an hour for the last 24 hours. Gonna be a significant delay for the padded seats this morning - I have yet to hear the first charge go off. Methinks some Silver Fir laps might be a smarter move

Shot six was definitely tasty. Get well, dude. Yesterday's country club, ski on laps has me feeling great today. Damn, it was good out there.

Traffic in Enumclaw led to a late departure from the expo center lot. Im on my way now. Apparently any extra space is given up for free first cone first serve. Pretty cool.
