Nothing like a ski area full of neck deep pow all to yourself. Props to wsdot for not realizing 40 year old alder trees need pruning before winter.

Boeing suspended site operations in Everett today...then the snow failed to materialize. This is the first time in my career that the site has been closed (other than for a half day after the earthquake). May see a little uptick in skiers today.

Wow, things sure did flip around quickly! All West side sites well above "normal" now.

Not to sound pessimistic, but once it warms up the snow depth will compact and current depths will be a lot closer to average. Here is a graphic based off of Snow Water Equivalent that is a bit different. What a storm though, I hope there are a couple more of these this winter!

Heading up for some night laps at Alpy. Red jacket, black pants, green boots. Holler if you need someone to beat down the mountain

It was fantastic early, then it improved drastically.
I'd like to thank everyone for not showing up to crush amazing snow today, ski on laps after 12 with an open Egate. Great rolling with ACH and Herx, my best day this year.Move upside and let the man go through...

Sorry to hear about the debacle at Crystal over the weekend. Glad the politics have moved to the appropriate thread. Let's keep the STOKE up on this thread. Some photos from Monday and Tuesday from a phone
