Mt. Bachelor going opposite and reinforcing they are open and plan to stay open until spring. I think resorts without the Ikon/Epic money are going to hold on as long as they can.

Sorry, no stoke from pow town today. The big orange thing in the sky was visible from about 3pm on. Another all-time day at the windy hill. Stoked to have gotten one this season, I had pretty much given up on pow.

Might get some pics tomorrow if I decide to slow down to snap some.

Hope y'all enjoyed what might be the last day of the season. Two lift ops showed up at Hyak this morning so things were triple-only until folks could be reassigned. Alpental sent four of their finest, incl. a supervisor and in the words of patrol I overheard at sweep, "really saved our asses today."

If this is how my chair-assisted season goes out after 54 lift-served days, so be it. I'll make good use of the skins & used AT setup I picked up in the fall

Looks like they've stopped ticket sales (as of 7pm today):

Fucking stupendous day at Mission today. Wow. Unlike Aaron, I'm 5'7", and was regularly fully immersed in the white room for multiple consecutive turns. It was sofa king deep and light. Just stellar start to finish.

No photos, left the phone in the car.

Agree 100%! Backside was meh, but there were stashes all over on the frontside. So glad I made the effort to sneak in one more day. Sounds like the Mission Crew wins the day, though.

Found lines like this at lunchtime:

(P)assholders only at "Seattle's ski area" tomorrow. Planning to pre-funk in lot4 then hop the shuttle to Hyak and make my way back for last chair and a long, long run to the bottom

Wow. that's pretty awesome actually for pass holders. They are giving up some crisis revenue (Stevens and Crystal crowds needing a fix). Maybe that was the deal they struck with state health department to stay open, as a way to reduce density?

Springs here, no more holiday crowds, no snow in the near or far crystal ball.

Not a bad call to shuterdown. Easier than picking which staff to lay off for spring

    Snow in the PNW 2019-20

Lifts are spinning today. They’re closed mon-wed at this point so I imagine if they’re gonna close it’ll be a midweek announcement.

Baker is done. Reevaluation on 3-22 for possible reopen 24th? I'd bet $7000 that the season is over.

    ^ Nice photo!

I'm sure this is too early to ask - but are any resorts allowing in-area touring during the closures? I promise to maintain 6 feet of spacing at all times.

I'd be game to pay $20/visit (or similar) for patrol to keep hours and do avi mitigation/carcass rescue for tourons. would be a way to help out seasonal workers, while also benefiting the "core" public.

While I doubt anyone will do that, I think that it's a great idea and would certainly participate.

Do we know what uphill policy is going to be now that Summit is closed?
