WA Pass total snow sensor hasn't been working correctly for a while. It's been snowing very consistently (as opposed to raining) over there and the reported number keeps staying around 84". This storm should deliver at least foot at the Pass level by Sunday. And I plan to smash as much of it as I possibly can. The folks who have heli seats booked on Sunday are in for an all time experience.

Balls deep in the excavated foundation I was looking at this morning. Unfortunately I had knee high boots on.

I would doubt that they've finished sliding yet.
Apparently GW is all hands to the pumps. and sand bags. County and volunteers digging out culverts and a bunch of properties in CRR flooded. Mine is dry and so far 10 acres of hillside above us has remained where it's supposed to be.
IMHO even if 410 open tmw it will be shit skiing. Not worth the bus fare.

Rainier is bullseyed by this WNW flow. I wonder how the burn zone is faring?
Look at the terrain enhancement and shadowing... wow. Strong rainshadow in the central and south Sound behind the Olympics, convergence on the high country around Rainier, bone dry in the lower Yakima, and then huge precip again in the Blues.

Yikes, probably lots of stuff going to come down where the NP burned.
