From Western WA NWS Discussion at 0700 this morning:
Snow Amounts: Accumulations generally 3-6 inches below 3500 feet (best chance of accumulation early Friday morning),
1-2 feet between 3500-4500 feet, and 2-4 feet above 4500 feet.

The next 45 hours should be good for the crest resorts.
I'll be ready with my rock skis, waiting for scraps.

3cm last night, 3cm this afternoon and snowing when I left Snoq to head back down to the swamps of Dagobah. Looks like all snow up there until 4-6am. Hopefully back to snow Thursday.

We've been getting some really well timed breaks in the storm that are making for some gorgeous sunrises on Lk Washington the past couple days.
Its gonna be a gongshow out there this weekend.

Anyone heading down south this weekend and have an extra seat. I could meet on route to the mountain, and will throw some cash for gas/beer/weed or whatever you decide to spend it on. I am free friday, saturday, and sunday.

It is 2019 and still no one can accurately forecast snow levels at Snoqualmie Pass!

WA weather is very, very complicated.
Suggest this book by Cliff Mass
"In The Weather of the Pacific Northwest, University of Washington atmospheric scientist and popular radio commentator Cliff Mass unravels the intricacies of Northwest weather, from the mundane to the mystifying. By examining our legendary floods, snowstorms, and windstorms, and a wide variety of local weather features, Mass answers such interesting questions as:
Why is it so hard to predict Northwest weather?"
