6-10" tomorrow, 3-6" Thursday. I'll leave it as an exercise to the reader to figure out which is snow and which is rain

    Likewise.
I like the "ghost" nature of this shot.

It's not every night you get followed home by state patrol who just wants to "make sure you made it"

Pushing 10" out there, you should probably go to work in the morning

    Snow in the PNW 2019-20

Crushed Alpy laps this evening with my daughter. Snow is light and deep until lower Sessel. Have fun tomorrow morning. Lower Nash looked primed. Had 4 inches on the car in 4 hours.

    Now that's some stoke!

Speaking of which... seems the lowest pass is set to break 200" of total snowfall this year when WSDOT updates their report tomorrow. Not bad considering 164" (or more) has come down since Christmas

Don't feel too bad, it took me 90 mins to get to Alpental this morning from Hyak (75 of which were spent getting myself and several others unstuck on the neighborhood roads). Bagged 5 Nash laps from rope drop to last chair and spent an hour sitting on the road to get from lot4 to Dru Bru. Goddamn kooks go home!

Pulled the plug after 5 increasingly damp & dense Elevator laps. Saw all the usual kooks but couldn't manage to spin a full lap with any of them. Ended-up ripping around with a fellow knuckledragger from Ohio of all places who enjoyed every single lap thru the lower gate. Showed him all the goodies, because why not, and got thoroughly pitted.

Car thermometer read 35F when I pulled out of lot 2 @ 1400, but a surprising 31F as I passed Exit 53. Perhaps there's hope still for some Wildside Wednesday

The bros are heading out to do control work above WB 90, makes sense they'd shut it down since it's full on nuking and noticeably warming. Was surprised to have 'vator in play today. Am still holding out hope for a couple laps on ye olde Wildside before it turns from white to wet

the first 90 minutes of the morning at Stevens was really quite delightful.. The snow was good, lines were non-existent, and most importantly, I wasn't at work.

Night skiing in the rain? Why the fuck not!
Alpental was closed but CENTRAL WASN'T.
And I gotta say it was a hoot. Rain corn every where and in some places you had to noodle so you didn't drown. Popping off every Knoll, lip and mound until I was soaked through and my ass felt like it might freeze to the chairlift seat.

No pics but I drove up last night for the skimo beer league at hyak. I was surprised that it was still snowing when I got to the parking lot at 6. The "race" started at 6:40 and I'm pretty sure that the precip was rain by the time I got to the top of Hyak at 7:10. Needless to say the 6-12" of glop didn't make for the best downhill skiing but it sure was nice to be outside moving around.

Yesterday I found my voice where I left it, at the Padded Seats Country Club. Full-on nuking all day top-to-bottom, albeit heavy below 3.5k, ride-on ride-off everything in play except the upper gate. Played a full day then switched into the fishin' gear for a round of golf after dark. Lapped until the snow turned to rain at the top of the ridge around 7:30 and then battled the slop home on a very messy 906 and even messier Hyak roadways.

Had lots of slop to move around this morning in the 33 degree rain
