Well, a bit of a thumbs down at the umbrella Overlord's bus liner. There was a significant lack communication with the bus's and crystal. Obviously the fsct that half of western washington was heading their didnt help, but I shouldnt have been waiting 3+ hours behind cars just waiting for spots to open in the lots. Finally with some proding from fellow passengers did my driver take to the oncoming lane to head up to the empty umbrella parkway.
Regardless much fun was had lapping greenvalley/northway lines, with some pockets of knee to thigh deep powder.
Solid medicore day for such a shit show.

What a great time to be in PNW. Got 3 of the previous 4 days at Stevens and last night storm skiing took the cake. Wind buffed nicely after being trampled during the day. High speed and all out mashing.
85” in 7 days at VailWA or 216 cm for our friends looking on from the north.

Snow in the PNW 2019-20
To this point, I wouldn’t duck ropes now either. I poured cold water on a killer night when I went off into a very familiar run and did a pow somersault. Ripping fall line into a lake of loaded snow only to stare at an slight incline 300’ swim. Was totally unnecessary as the whole mountain was dope.

A tour bus and two semis decided the middle of I90 right at Exit 52 was the best spot to chain up. Other than that, there were only a handful of spun cars on the way up, all off to the side not blocking anything. And we made it through probably 20 minutes before it closed. Nothing like the utter CF that was Saturday morning.
East was fun today, but man you really have to hunt out the steeper shots to keep speed when the snow is fully bottomless. I had to check on a couple people and use my poles to pull some people up and out that were just wallowing on their backs unable to get up. folks had gone full speed into uphill cattrack landings and were in bombholes literally over their heads standing up. Super fun popping pillows everywhere, but a lot of people were getting absolutely worked out there. The parking lot at east was a nightmare. I pulled in a little too far to a spot and sunk my front tires off an edge and was spinning. said fuck it, and went skiing for a few hours then had to dig my way out and get a push from my lady and a nice patroller who stopped by.
Super solid weekend. was a good one that gets us mostly back on track for the season.

This weekend has me really looking over my finances about buying a place up at the pass. The weekend morning drives are killing me.

Our timing today was stellar, dream time rope drop on Nash. Cringe worthy comedy of four wheel spins while waiting for opening on 1.

Shoveled the deck after going bell2bell in the 'yakyard. Then blew the parking pad. Then unloaded the pellets that had been sitting in the back of my car since Friday. Washed a small mountain of dishes and took out the recycling. I'm bodied and would be completely okay with it not snowing any more for a couple days...
