Have you tried the TGR Forums app for Android? Much better experience

EDIT: apparently the app is no longer available on the Google Play Store
But you can still download the APK of the latest, stable version and sideload it onto your phone. Perhaps I should set up a table in our corner of lot4 to help mags in need do that

I'll be trying the bus once again on Saturday. I sent a letter out this week about my two experiences and have heard nothing. I also called their guest services and was told to email them.

I was hoping for some vouchers.

They changed the bus departure times and limited them, with no bus leaving from Enumclaw after 7:30 which is frustrating for me. Every other Saturday I don't have a way to Enumclaw before 8:00, so I was hoping for a 9:00 bus.

I wish I could just go up on weekdays.

Apparently I should use my ikon pass days at Snoq

Karaoke at the P-House bar tonight after 7. Take out your recycling, spin some laps and "dry out" with your favorite locals

It's the only reason to go to the golf course, where they offer freshly groomed fairways at 4pm for us working stiffs. It looks like tonight will be showery and the greens will be soft, keep an eye out for a knuckledragger on two planks

Well, one is open today, the other is not. One will have magnificent piles of debris, the other will have mediocre debris piles. One will have the worlds largest umbrella, the other you will want to bring your own umbrella. Has has great soup to drink (eat?), the other has great soup to ski in. Choose wisely.

Decent skiing in the upper basin at Mission. The best description I can come up with is crumbly styrofoam. Bottom two thirds was coral reef of varying hardness.

Yeah, the relentless deluge from Issaquah to Hyak changed my mind about tonight. Still gonna hit the P-House bar for some karaoke though

Can I get some of your motivation? You don’t have a license and you’ve skied more than me this year. The bus shit show you’ve been dealing with would of pissed me off enough to say fuck it.

If I hit snooze too many times sometimes I’ll call it off .

    Nice work getting after it.

    Nice work!
I passed through enumclaw at 630 and there was already a solid line of cars. They actually kept it moving though.

    Riding solo today at Crystal.
Tall dude on black mindbenders in a seafoam jacket. Feel free to yell if anyone wants to take some laps.

Also just watched a guy knock over about 40 pairs of skis and boards like Domino's then get heckled by the crews already drinking under the umbrella. #ikonic

FS Kastle FX94 HP with Griffon

I got up at 430 this morning, leaving the house at 545 so my wife and I could get breakfast then stop at the Enumclaw safeway for some jerky. The bus was pretty empty, so a nap was pretty easy to land. They did a decent job today, but im getting frustrated because ive yet to hear back from Crystal (Ive emailed and called). Im about to just walk in to guest services and press issue face to face.

Nothing is going to stop me from skiing, even if that means hiking to Enumclaw and hitchhiking to crystal. A year off didnt seem to hinder my skiing, and if anything with the working out I did, im skiing at a higher level than I finished my last season. I may be a bit of jerry, but I certainly put in the work.

After skiing Im also going roller skating with the wife. Ill be pretty much dead by the time i head home.

Im wearing orange pants, blue onyx and orange trim hh jacket and a orange helmet, on on3p jeronimos. There is a bbi 18 sticker on my helmet as well.

It takes a lot to rattle me (regarding chairlifts anyway), the ride up two first thing this AM was as sketchball a chairlift ride as I've ever had. JTGoat and I rode up first chair ready to bail on a moments notice if shit went south. It was shut down immediately after the first set of passengers were cleared. I would be surprised if it ran again today.

In other news, debris everywhere (shocking, I know), some of the slide paths gouged big channels into the snowpack. I was able to get a clean run down Nash. Debris in general were softish, most but not all aspects have flushed to some extent.

They did get it open again after you left. Took one Rolen to Gunmount run and that was enough for me. The lower mountain was well groomed by the masses for the afternoon and then they all disappeared. Ski on to the lifts all afternoon. I think a lot of lesson parents bailed after the morning deluge. It was character building for my kids. Me and my 16yo grom had a blast all day and shut the place down. What looked to be a terrible day ended up being awesome. Spring skiing in January!

Pic of the debris between Eisfallen and Dom with 6' teenager for scale.

Nice creamy new snow at Mission this morning. Top was skiing in the milk jug early, didn’t stick around for the blue skies later. Up high the snow was all soft. Lower down skiing was good off piste if it was smooth, dense new kept you off the crust.
