The padded seats received 4.5" of precip in the form of 12" of snow. The base has been fortified.

Faaaack. Forecast going to form. We did 2 skin laps yesterday afternoon at Sliver Fir in 8" of fresh pow and poor viz. It's all fucked now -- in other words, good for the base.

Yeah, I saw that in the telemetry this morning. Later than expected, but NWS said it had low confidence re timing of the warm wet system. Glad we hit it before the spigot opened.

Well if you can’t connect turns in there and have to side slip then Bozo Disposal is perfect.

Feeling pretty crispy in the shadow of Baker, with a hard rain coming down. Gotta be raging up there today. Too bad I have to work remotely today, guess it's better than being in the orifice...

NWAC claimed17 inches at Stevens, but it was a wintery mix of mostly rain and a nasty sloppy mess... However,, the first 20 turns at the very top was quite lovely... I've had worse first days...

A balmy 37. Raining sideways at the base with gusts to 25. Full-on storming at the top: A combination of low-rise, low-viz, hyperdense mollases/cascade concrete mixture. A struggle to make forward progress down the mountain. I'd planned to get back out tomorrow but if temps don't drop overnight...eesh.

We're now over 6 inches of rainfall in North Bend in the last 24 hours. Impressive duration for such a high intensity event.

Also, the temps have leveled off, but it was 39 degrees at the onset of the storm and 41 when I went to sleep last night. Woke up to 54 degree temps. Spank that mank.

I'm also impressed with the lack of orographic enhancement with this event, as there is minimal difference in the storm totals in NB at ~500' ASL and the weather stations on the pass.

Heavy raining at the base of crystal, switched to snow a couple hundred feet above the base of rex. Snowed all day in green valley - heavy creamy cement. But... fresh snow and no lift lines. Steeper stuff skied pretty well throughout the day.

2 knuckleheads got themselves stuck above the lower hanging cliffs in snorting elk bowl. Patrol had to help them back up and out.

    Discovery meadows was a pond.

About 25ft from my front door.

We’ve got about 5ft of bank height left. Forecast is for it to start dropping. We’ll see!

Interesting isolated freezing rain right at the pass all day.
