Well they are open now so prepare for the impending padded seats STOKE overload thread highjack...

Felt good to be back on the mountain today and see so many friends in one place! The skiing was a solid mediocre, a shit ton of terrain in the terrain.

Tried to head up for Stevens storm skiing after the game tonight but we turned around - bad accident in Baring, hope all are well. Coming down as hard as I can remember seeing it so turned fam around.

We’ve all been waiting hope we’re all about to get rewarded.

The padded seats contingent will be on break until Thurs. at the earliest. Hyak might open Fri, though, so braces yourselves for that

Xtal was great yesterday. Got up the boulevard of broken dreams before it was shutdown. Had 3 deep laps on sunnyside before 9am before heading into green valley and then chair 6. Southback opened just after 1 that whole aspect had knee to thigh deep pow. So much stoke yesterday! Hope everyone had some soft turns

Totally, hence my inclusion of "and bad tires".

My observation seems to indicate that the curve for moronic behavior correlates with altitude and snow levels. YMMV.

x2 B, you too Shroom. Abe thought he spotted you in a ch2 line but it was a clothing doppleganger when they skied by.

Alterra's business model is that in two years time there will be a non stop chain of stalled buses running from Enumclaw showgrounds to the mountain and back. guests will make their way along the line by utilizing the rear escape door of the coach in front of them in line, leaving via the front doors thus working their way to the Giant Umbrella
