No road laps of the Blueberry Chutes this summer, dang

With the majority of USFS trails and facilities closed this summer, crews have begun clearing the highway as far east as the Terminal Lake parking lot and will let the last 1.8 miles to Artist Point melt on its own. Based on the current snowpack, the last 1.8 miles to Artist Point is expected to melt out in August.

Last night was the first night in about a week it didn’t freeze at WA pass.

Silver went fine yesterday. Walking to Ollalie Meadows/NW basin divide, then continuous skinning from there. Top is pretty smooth, bottom bumpy (rivulets). Silver Solstice will go.

No longer continuous on the up as of Wednesday evening. Middle goes with a carry (or not depending on your speed/affinity for bases) in the dirty forest.

Haven't you skied pretty much every line that still goes in this picture? Interesting snow distribution this year, generally lots of snow above 6k, but south facing stuff like Kautz Headwall and FF look pretty damn rough for mid-June.
