    Snow in the PNW 2019-20

Looked about right to me. Hinkhouse is behind S. Early Winter Spire, of course.

Ankle injury was short-lived, back at it again with GeezerSteve and his posse. I swear if you gave him a megaphone you could hear him across the entire county without need for transmitting via FM

They are running out of snow. The amount of melt out between Tuesday and today was huge.

Good times today with lots of locals and a real "closing day" vibe. Not really possible to get into Blazing Elk or Grubstake without crossing some dirt and rocks. Those who chose the Lucky Shot exit ended up walking about a mile in their boots to get to the bottom. I'm calling it a season for Washington lift served.

Should I plan on rock skis tomorrow?

If you stick to Green Valley proper and Pro Course/West Face, you won't hit anything mineral. Rain jacket might be good.

It was snow, not rain above 6k’, and it’s been below freezing almost every night. Great conditions

37 and snowing at the base of Crystal at 5 pm. It was 54 when I got there. Tomorrow should be nice and soft. Fun times today with a couple of Alpentalics.

The surface conditions in the neighborhood are increasing in their mediocrity and the carries are many, but there are still turns to be made to justify the effort. Can't say I'd recommend the 'schwack along the valley floor - after coming up it I opted to climb to the overlook and exit via the "summer" route

So...for those of you who want to get one last fling in, (who don’t ski volcanoes), I would suggest do it soon, next weekend would probably be the last, (without a lot of climbing on rocks). I don’t know about Klipchuck ,but there were a lot of people camping at Early Winters.

Good coverage at Chinook right now, including all aspects of Natches, but I was lucky to get one lap in between rain events.
