Snow in the PNW 2019-20

I'm just going from memory, so maybe others can correct. But believe Ikon has been around for two seasons (this season is the third) and Boyne resorts were always destination Ikon resorts. My Crystal pass in 18/19 got turned into an Ikon when Crystal sold to Alterra. Before that, there was always a Crystal/Summit connection since they are all offspring of the Boyne/Kircher family. Wiki tells me Boyne/Kircher bought Crystal in 1997, and they bought Summit in 2007. I believe even before Ikon I was getting free days at Alpy with the my Crystal pass.

Think how many people would go Ikon/Crystal if Vail didn't own Stevens/Whistler. Or on years like this when Whistler becomes obsolete.

Boyne bought the Summit a couple years ago before that it was owned by a couple different REITs Boyne managed the resort for them

Glad you got it back.
They have been a variety of signal amplification methods that basically spoof having your key close to the car. I think there were some Mercedes thefts that were big news a few years ago because they were seen on camera as instant. One option appears to be putting your keys in a faraday cage of some type. Our cars were rifled through a fair amount until we bought a faraday bag to put the fobs in at night. 4 years later and not really much of a problem anymore. I thought they could just gain entry, I had no idea that could also start the car as well, that's nuts.

I wonder if newer models have an off switch to kill the signal, seems like a no brainer.

Just threw down for a High 12 season pass. Jumping ship from the inevitable crowds at Alpy this season. It may not be the most difficult skiing, but having the BC essentially to myself guarantees good turns. Any mags that want to get out there for the first time, hit me up. Happy to show the way.
