If ski companies didn't make new skis every year I wouldn't have to get new skis every year.

    Seriously, what is going on.
Common sense. So rare today in America it's almost like having a superpower.

Personally, I just can’t justify drilling another set of holes in such a beautiful pair of skis. I know there is a hole conflict thread going on in Tech Talk, but I personally just can’t do it to these skis. I would literally just be trying them out for fun, with almost no intention of keeping them. There is so much overlap on my quiver and I know I don’t like pow/big mountain skis under 190, so it would be a waste to buy these.

    No shit.
I sent a PM this morning: "Good Lord, those are still availavble?".

    Narrowly avoided purchasing.
    Prolly serious overlap.
My quiver is currently fat @ ~115mm.

I’m sitting on 3 pairs between 115 and 120mm, 196 Praxis Super Freerides @ 116mm, 193 Volkl Shiros @ 119mm, and 203 Volkl Shiros @ 119mm. Needless to say, I’m in the same boat. I’m pretty sure the 193 Shiros won’t survive the winter, just not sure I’d replace them with RX. More likely get something like a 193 cm K2 Mindbender 108TI as a daily driver, or a 192cm Faction Candide 3.0 to mount kingpins on as a touring ski.

Good luck and congrats to who ever grabs them
