    Look Konnect System

Have someone trying to sell me on the Look Konnect system. I typically like my bindings hard mounted without demo rail systems.

Anyone have experience and can speak to if it’s worth having on the ski?

    Walk away. Quickly.

Friends don’t let friends ski demo binders.

Not demo. System. Which is even worse.

It is a pretty tall binding, tallest of all the systems. It works for a narrow ski, under 80mm I wouldn't ski it on anything wider.

Every so often the industry pushes a system, rail or what ever you call it binding. It introduces play & slop and often times noise. These types of binding are for small shops that have problems retaining experienced techs with the craftsmanship required for a mount. Plug and play they are.

And when your skis are shot you have no bindings to put on your next pair.
