    Glacier Opening and Ski Absolute

Austrian glaciers started the new season October 12,
with temperatures up to 13° centigrade at 3,000 meters.
But the new snow off-piste was promising for the sharpest freeride ski ever - the Ski Absolute.

Oh, that thing. Got it. I thought someone had broken their ski in half and left it sticking up in the snow.

i think we should do a group buy and everyone can try it out at BBI's and weekends. Shipping should be fairly cheap, looking at it.

Someone hadn`t just broken the ski. No, he even mounted fins at the rear of the ski.

Yeah, "that thing" got rear fins like an airplane, a wind surfer, a speed boat or a water ski.
Metallic fins carve the snow/ice surface and perform turns you have been just dreaming of.

    Norseman was asking:
"Do I have to wear rear-entries to ski RAX?"

No, there is no compulsory dress code for Rax riders!

Any chance you'll release a twin-tip model? I think the fin stabilization would really help me improve my switch skiing

I feel the thread title is misleading. I thought this was about a new Absolute Vodka born of glacier water. I'm kind of bummed...But those "skis", so intriguing!

No there will be no twin-tip Rax Ski, as there is no "twin-tip airplane", no such ship, boat or missile,
no symmetrical spear or shooting gun...even not a symmetrical horse.
With "twin-tip symmetry" you are just losing all advantages the physics can offer.
