But, do you like sauerkraut? (Help me keep my batch alive!)
This is a HIGHLY debated subject amongst my family and friend recently, because you either love it or hate it. So far the love team consists of my 1.5 year old son (that confused mother fucker in my head shot), brother, grandfather, and all my friends who get down with cool shit. The hate team consists of my wife and all her friends. They’re all talking shit on this 25lb vat of sauerkraut I will have fermenting in the kitchen for the next month. This situation got me thinking, where do the mags stand? Do you want to eat my kraut? Or would you like it to die in a fire? Am I incorrect cause you think it tastes like horse ass, or am I right cause it shreds your taste buds harder than randy savage on the coke binge of a lifetime? This sounds like a subject that needs to be debated amongst you fine opinionated folks. If your argument is convincing enough and my batch is not sabotaged I will mail you a can so you can throw it in the lake or eat it with your next Reuben.

Reubans are sweet. Kraut dust sounds weird. I may just send you some to save your taste buds.

Love kraut! My favorite way to cook ribs is with kraut and taters.

What is the debate about? Her friends eat a lot and there isn’t enough to go around? I know your giant crock is full but just suck it up and buy a bunch of jars and make another batch. That way you can squirrel away a couple jars so the girls don’t eat it all

I love kraut. My daughter leaves the room when I open the jar.
Been buying the stuff from Costco lately, Wild Brine. Good stuff.

Sorry if unclear. They’re mad I’m making it cause it stinks. It has to ferment for a month. The debate is if they should deal with it or if my kraut gets executed.

Same boat. I'm drying my homegrown in the house because I'm afraid it's too cold and wet to cure in the barn..the good news is it's in the same room as the kitty litter so it's a net positive

I like where you’re going with this. Unfortunately I don’t have a hidey hole for my vat. And our shop is under construction so that’s out of the picture. Thankfully we have come to an agreement and it will live! For now....
