Cordovan is already the most resistant dress leather so you’re options for nice shoes are either to be the only person I’ve ever know to wear these:

Or, you can go cheap and buy a bunch of weather resistant rockports or eccos and not care as much if your shoes were crafted on an Italian countryside by a 12th generation master cordwainer using the underside of a 2 month old cow as the backstay.

Does Yak Trax make galoshes? If I was selling cars or otherwise needed to impress people at work I'd probably just go with some of those black or brown shoes that kitchen and restaurant staff wear for something kinda nice looking but super sticky on bottom. The are a nice leather sneaker with a heavily siped top sider tread sole. Boots and leather soled dress shoes are a formula for disaster on snow or ice.

    Or these LOL

OL demands a supple backstay, hence near immediate slaughter after birth. The proletariat get the old cows on their feet.

Funky shaped or hurting feet rejoice in these puppy’s. Water resistant & DWR treated to keep your feet dry from spilling beer or cutting thru wet lawns. Nike ACG vibe. Compress flat to the size of a book in a pack.

Crosspost from the Shit That Annoys You Thread after Buster goaded me into drinking gin in white jeans with boat shoes.

Well, actually, I was already drinking gin n tonics for the past month and just saw a reason to put on the jeans and snap a pic. The Sperrys are S.O.P.

What can I say, we've got time these days.
