Well, actually, I was already drinking gin n tonics for the past month and just saw a reason to put on the jeans and snap a pic. The Sperrys are S.O.P.

What can I say, we've got time these days.

I'd be worried about glass sweat getting into the keyboard. Otherwise about as fine a friday as it gets here, white jeans and all.

    Isn't it?

Shelter in Place has never been so easy. I'm still hoppin mad about the National Park Closures though but I figure that won't stop me from a social distancing in-state drive.

And Mr. Mike, I own these badass jeans, no way in hell I'd fit in the wife's size 0's.

Van's used to make a woven leather slip on fashioned off those checkerboards. They were the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. And because they were leather, you could get away with wearing them to weddings, job interviews, racist and sexist country clubs full of southern white folk.... Just about anywhere, really.

Still have my way old Vision Gator. It's a beast compared to these stocks today. Kinda want one, but smartly staying away at this stage of the game. But maybe.

Those Vans are easy to clean. But it's spring so I will allow it.

I grew up not far from the Van's factory in Anaheim (1970's) You could bring in any fabric and they'd make shoes with it.

We felt cheated when they started selling the checker slip ons, do you know how much time it took in class to hand draw those checkers with a bic pen?
