Aw, don’t feel bad. SWA flies to ABQ, only an hour from my place. And my place is two hours to Taos. And I have a spare bedroom and a platinum Amex...silver though.

    That's way better! Nah.

Just messing but I just need a couple short flights and I'm golden. Like Newark and back. And all the way across the country kinda sucks on SW. I like SW but that's true.

One time a couple years ago I was running way late for a CA flight on SW and I hadn't had a thing to eat all day. I snagged one of those 2-piece Snickers and ran onto the plane. Then they made an annnouncement that there was a peanut allergy sufferer on the flight and don't eat anything with peanuts in it. I almost cried.

I'm almost positive the person survived.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who read that right.

For me: Delta mega-hub, points out the ass, companion tickets and status = Delta Platinum AmEx. Ain't anything baller, but man it works.

One of my first. Loan sharks don't care about your age.

Airline benefits are the only things that look useful on the baller cards. I've been doing fine without a concierge that works for a credit card company.

That sounds like a card for the unwashed masses. Not something I'm interested in.

Does Southwest even have real first class seats covered in real leather? I've never flown it. I like that their planes are colorful though.

Nope. It's all one class. They do have leather seats though. Or pleather or something.

Hmm. That might make a nice everyday card.

BMills, check first. The rose gold on the Richard Mille case is very subtle. The card looks much more pink.

This could be a nice everyday card. Though I'd worry that even a C-class owner could get one.

As opposed to what? First class? Personally I’ll take my SW exit row seat over comfort + or whatever the airlines call extra space. First class on my flight this week did have me questioning my SW loyalty. I fly enough to hit the highest levels of rewards if I stick to one carrier (except concierge key on American). But I fly too much personally to cover my trips and my wife’s ticket without the companion pass.

The Mercedes Amex card is discontinued. I had one -- got a pile of Amex MR points, lounge access, airline gift cards ($400 IIRC), and $200 in MBZ schwag from the dealer gift shop.... though I don't own a Mercedes, never have, and never will.
