Update 11/18/19
We will be shipping all Orders from Part 1 and Part 2 Secret Shirt Project
December 2 and 3 by USPS Priority Mail
most likely I am going to offer a black Friday Sale for all the extras that we made for part 2
that were not bought up in the 2nd Purchase wave
These shirts will be offered 1st to all previous buyers from Part 1 and Part 2 at a further discount , i have not decided what that will be yet...but i dont want to be peddlin these shirts of the website into the future at $50 each cause jackets are challenge enough for our strained fulfillment process....small orders will overwhelm on a regular basis
After mags 1st and 2nd wave get their fill....I will open it up to Smurf blue buyers and any other past freeride systems customers at a price slightly higher than the 1st and 2nd wave prebuyers bought in at on the original deal (slightly higher than $30 each/ mayb $37)......
after that...i dont know what.....maybe i will make them into flags and quilts....or ..............powder skirts.......
or since all these Dead collaborations are soo hottttt this Season, we surely want to get in on the action and creative, we may do a collaboration with the Walking Dead for the rest of them TWD limited addition, we will rip them according to your favorite creepy 'walker' 's costume.....fake dead walker spooze will be extra ...on first cum basis

Yes! Do you perhaps make 3/4 length pantaloons so my base layer kit can be all freeride systems?

thanks guys, no I don’t have any bottoms to go with these tops, but maybe that’s something I will consider for the future.
Let’s talk about washing and care for a minute. No matter what the care label says, ( i used some of our old ones),I would highly recommend handwashing this piece and line dry if you do not want pilling. structurally this garment is going to feel more substantial than a silk type base layer, I am in love with this shirt and I really love seeing the grid pattern from behind create texture on the front. But to keep from having to view that through a bunch of tiny little polyester balls, I would try to keep it out of the washing machine and/or dryer. It probably wouldn’t be awful to put it in the washing machine at a cold temperature setting with some very mild soap and alone or with a few like and similar garments.. But, I would definitely line dry it. This fabric will dry very very quickly at room temperature. I would guess within hours.
it’s interesting to see fabric like this go from the roll to the finished sewn piece. And, I would add that it is hard to visualize and imagine the feel of a garment from just flat rolled fabric. this thing is a tad heavier than the smurf version, the sweat grids are thicker ,with more absorbant area and i think this makes up the slightly heavier feel. This is definitely a piece that you can wear under our jackets with probably a short sleeve base layer over it as long as you are exerting yourself. i would wear this next to your skin. I think in colder settings or more wind you can either double this shirt , wear two of them, or go to a bross type garment or a breathable fleece over it and then a shell jacket and you will be done. Make sure to not use membrane mid layers whether that is another shell or a wind block fleece, unless the wind black fleece breathes.
These are all just my opinion from use of these types of fabrics over the years in harsh and extreme settings daily.www.freeridesystems.com

Got mine today, looks real nice.
Just some feedback for maybe anyone that hasn't got in on rd 2 yet, I'm 6'0 160lb and went with the medium, fits nice but could be about 3" shorter in both sleeve and overall length, little loose in the belly.
If I get a second, I might try a small.Last edited by weirdpeirce; 12-04-2019 at 03:15 PM.

^they are 1.25” longer than last seasons because last time we had separate sizes for tall and it was too much to manage.....so these all got a bump in length.... i noticed this as well, but think of it this way, no glove gap, or plumbers crack, those wanting thumbholes can make them

Thanks Mike & Co.!
Got both of mine, should’ve ordered more. I’m 5’10” and 175lbs with very long arms; I ordered large. The body runs long in a good way. If I let the shirt hang all the way down, it ends around the dick area. This means that when I’m wearing the shirt tucked in as a layer (the intended use), it won’t come untucked if I bend over or whatever. Great feature. The fabric is SO soft against the skin and it has great stretch.
The sleeves fit me perfectly, so people my height/weight with normal arms will probably have a little extra to work with which means you can cut thumb holes...lucky you.
Somebody that isn’t me please be the guinea pig and put theirs in the wash to see if it’s safe. I know what MiCol said about hand washing and hang drying, but I’m lazy.
