    up really high and in the coldest climbs, I use icebreaker onesie 200 weight, then polartech sidezip fleece pants like these under my down suit:

    I've had mine for 10 years, but I'm sure someone still makes something like this. for times where it's too thin and ya can't work hard enough to stay warm otherwise.

    I wear them stand alone in camp or on approaches. and as an underlayer with sidezips it gives some versatility as things warm up.

    Just saw these in their catalog. Look pretty sweet for frigid days, but goddamn they’re expensive.
