And my big disagreement is that I liked Hank's top portion better than everyone's. He took an untouched line and then was obviously playing with the sluff in a zone others were scared to go to. Despite the lack of a 3, it was the best top portion I saw.
Hank's top section may have been the most aesthetic top section with the sluff and the creative line, but the fact is it was much technically easier to ski and it was a lot less risk. That equals less points regardless of any other factors.

Tricomi makes winning look really difficult. Her arms out style is just painful to watch. Pretty much the opposite of Eder.

It’s a bummer Jess Hotter didn’t stick that backflip but love that she went for it. She probably could have done a straight air and won the comp. IMO she is clearly the best of the female skiers right now... just a very relaxed style, and yes, quite the opposite of Tricomi who makes it look harder, not easier.
I ski 135 degree chutes switch to the road.

Just want to add that the commentators were again solid. Derek is very good. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and analytical. Without being overbearing on any of those fronts. And speaking of over bearing, Neil is much less so with Derek around.

I liked the one at 1:00 as well. And I think it's awesome you all are debating the womens field runs, it seemed like a few years ago we were mostly skipping that part of the contest

I think it's pretty clear that the bar has been raised in that category. Very cool to see such a quick progression.

You would think not but this is still saying it’s going to happen. Article from 2nd March but says updated 14 hours ago. 3/4 of the way down this article with translation pasted below: https://www.lenouvelliste.ch/dossier...-valais-915060

« The Xtreme will take place anyway.

The Xtreme de Verbier, which as usual will host the final of the Freeride World Tour from 28 March to 5 April and will celebrate its 25th anniversary at the same time, is already certain not to see its party spoiled by the virus.

"The competition will take place anyway, even if it has to be organised without an audience," says Francine-Janet Moreillon, a member of the organisation. "We will in any case be able to count on a video production that will provide live coverage and can be broadcast worldwide. So the question of cancellation is not really an issue for the Verbier Xtreme, fortunately," she added. »

    ^^^of course he is.

IFSA cancelled everything left on the schedule including several junior nationals and NORAMs. Crystal pulled the plug on us this morning as we were about to drop day 2 athletes.

They've been putting up some classics, but this one takes me back to when i was getting into it. Used to love watching Kai.
