Pretty sure the WSL has a lot better funding. Lot easier to sell images of beaches and bikinis to the masses. Than cold mountains

WSL is owned by the Ziffs, and they have billions of dollars, so can afford to waste a few mio on their pet surf project.

They aren’t fair points but entitled bs. Nicolas Hale Woods has put this tour on the map. To knock him before we’ve even seen the first comp is poor

    Enjoy the gerkins!

    Freeride World Tour - 2020

I’m confused, when I go to the FWT website, it only has a live broadcast option, and appears to be happening now. I can’t skip ahead, so is this actually live and not a replay?

Edit- it must be, the results keep changing.....

The comp happened yesterday, but they are broadcasting it now as if it were live.

snow looks super grabby or something. Even Tabke, almost got caught halfway through his run on an innocuous looking turn.

I think it was the combination of not a great venue, really shitty snow, and pretty low coverage. Snow looked like a wind event had happened- grabby wind compacted, crusty ridgelines, and deep dense windblown deposits.
