As opposed to the dentists on TGR explaining why they don't need snow tires
everybody up here run real snow tires either ice radials or studded
so he is doing the twice yearly swapping of tires
as opposed to rotating tires which is possible with the vehicals scissor Jack but the most sketchy probably not a great idea
bottle jacks also kind of suck they are always too high/too short/ fucking with wood block /getting under the vehical ect
I was just at my tire dealer buying a new set of Hak LT3's , they now want 13$ a wheel to swap tires which used to be free so I'm gona scope out a floor jack
they will still re-tork the nuts for freeLee Lau - xxx-er is the laziest Asian canuck I know

First I would try to iron it back on which we have done with drysuits
If that doesnt work then I would dab some AQS under the tape, put a piece of plastic bag over the tape, stick it down and put some thing heavy on top
or iron it back on to at least get it in place over the seam and then a thin layer of AQSLee Lau - xxx-er is the laziest Asian canuck I know

I will sometimes use a little tolulene/acetone or something incredibly nasty to remove body oils

Geez you guys. All worried about the lift and durability of an OEM scissor jack. Did no one read he was swapping tires on a toy matrix? Your girlfriend probably weighs more.

The system worked great on the toy Matrix's slightly bigger brother, the RAV4. Fast, light and efficient. Threw some extra grease on the S. jack threads. No noticeable weird wearing on the threads after the job was done. Buddy gave me an old beater normal cordless drill to try to wreck, so used that for the scissor jack show and used the impact for the lugnuts. Drill didn't get wrecked. Realized the mission goal of not hurting the back so I can save it for being wrecked pounding bumps in a few months. The only fail was getting stung by a fucking wasp. All in all, though, sweet victory.
Master of mediocrity.
