    PSA: new Knee Bindings, $49.95

The shop in my town is trying to clear out Knee Binding inventory @ $49.95 a pair (they've been sitting on the shelf for a year or two). Not sure of the brake widths but I can get details if interested. If you need some bindings that match the Ikon stickers on your helmet, I'm happy to facilitate and ship your way. Don't worry, I won't judge (much)...

For 50 bucks I'm interested in a pair for my partner who tore an acl 2 seasons ago.

We're still working on building up the confidence, and these might help.

calm down guys! Wasn't all reviews on them saying that they totally suck? 50$ is cheap but is it worth risking your health?

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

If there's something in the 100mm brake size, I'm in.

I heard CAST is making an adapter for knee bindings. Maybe then you'll take my offer seriously?

Hmm .. strong enough for a Man, but ph balanced for a woman.

I wonder if there truly is any difference vs the menís model

I ended up having to back out as my partner was not as interested as I had anticipated. I feel like a heel.

Thank you to thefortrees for posting this deal up, and for the info and effort.

Somebody buy these bindings. This is a really great deal.

I'd be interested if one of the 100+ brakes comes free.

    ---
    As an aside;
I have these on a pair of my daughters skis - they work well. She has the "Carbon" version.
The only downside, that I can see, is they are more difficult to step into, especially in deep unconsolidated snow.
Kind of like the older [say, around 2015] Marker Griffons.
They're not terrible, but not awesome.

I'd ski them, but I like to share skis, so I mount demos. If I could get a Knee Demo, I'd do it. [They don't make a demo, I've asked.]
BTW, I believe I have a paper template I created for mounting, if any one wants one. I did my daughters mount with it. [The pattern is identical for all versions.]

For anyone on the fence on these due to brake widths, I do have a set of both 84-110 mm brakes, and 104-130 mm brakes (from Canada) that I can ship. I can also provide the bindings (with a toe shim, i think its 4.5 mm thick) with that for someone (for parts, i wouldn't sell these for use) if they so desire. I'd be fine to send for just shipping cost, or swap for any cam-style powerstrap (booster strap WC, Expert, or any other brand).

I got a pair for free last year and mounted them up to some new skis.

For awhile there, I was thinking about carrying them, but decided against it. They are too heavy. It was my feeling that any perceived safety from the binding is far out weighed (get it?) by how heavy they are. I skied them for about 40 days and yanked them off and replaced them with Griffins.

I just couldnít get comfortable on them. Besides, my skis are like 193s and in the tram line or anywhere else for that matter, it was a constant train of gapers coming up with their 168 Soul 7 wanting to talk with me. It got old after awhile. Also the stack height is pretty high and just wasnít used to it.
