I like “Casino Royale”, but as a counterpoint to Roger Moore being bad in the role, he basically says he was being campy and thought it was for fun.

I still have to check Fergi and Wallowa Lake Tramway off my bucket list too.
Tram doesn't run Oct - Mid May.
Fergie is a long way to go for surface lifts that only run on weekends and school breaks. That said, it could be a fun excursion

According to The Farmer's Almanac, Bluewood looks like the place to ski with "Deep Powder" predictions!

Given that Tahoe is predicted to be "Dry", perhaps a road trip which includes Bluewood, 49° North, Anthony Lakes, Lookout Pass, Loup Loup, Mission Ridge, Mt. Washington, and White Pass might be in order, eh?

Heck, some of my most memorable days have been at really small, Old School hills...

So it looks like there is still hope. Maybe someday. Goal is to ride all the lifts in Oregon but that second article makes the 18 minute skin to ski off the top sound pretty tempting. Author was pretty stoked just to climb on snowshoes.

Seems like good odds for skiing in Mid May off the tram. I have heard from people that did it in recent years. Said they climbed/skinned from the top to some sort of bowl and got some decent turns.

Fergie is a long ways away. Seems like it is probably a long ways from most people though so maybe it is not too crowded on those weekends and school holidays. I have never had the chance to stop in Joseph or Enterprise either and both are on my list to check out

How much of a discount does Bluewood give if you stay at one of the lodging partners? https://www.bluewood.com/135

As of the 17/18 season Anthony Lakes did 1/2 off the full ticket price through their partners. Not seeing anything about it on their website today though. Also noticed they raised their ticket price by $5. Still says 1/2 price on Thursdays though.

Thirfty Thursdays @ Anthony is $17 Unless your tbs, then there's a special discount. Unfortunately the locals don't cotton to line cutters either.
