Shot gun to the abdomen is pretty painful. That guy lived after a couple of operations, wound up as a chaplain at our hospital.
Gunshot to the upper C spine is the worst suicide attempt I've ever seen. Quadraplegic, wide awake, on a ventilator for life, with no way out.

indoor ranges fucking scare me. Someone did the same near me.

Things have changed a lot in 20 yrs. People firing rifles indoors at 25 yard targets? Renting AR’s to morons. It’s greed.

There's a required 30 minute safety tutorial you're required to click through before they'll allow you access.. Even with the basic ear plugs, it's still LOUD AS FUCK in there. And, I play drums. There's no 100% safe place where there are people with guns. And, that mostly safe place suddenly becomes a death trap for some the minute one of those good guys suddenly decides to be a bad guy. Thank God this one decided to keep the mayhem to themselves instead of taking others out with him. Yes there are other ways, but nothing easier than a gun for killing people. It's the best tool for it's designed purpose for sure..

Only if you promise to roll coal while my brains splatter across your windshield.

Always amazes me every other month when that story comes on the news about the latest person killed by a train. Asking.. "what were they doing on the train tracks?"... and "why didn't they hear the train?".. Duh! Isn't it obvious???

You know the the name Cracker Barrel?

I made something very special With my reloading equipment.

Because of the shit heads that follow me everywhere I go.

    I made some special ammo.

300 grain wad cutters - Backed up with 11 grains of Hodgens CPE powder/ - Off the charts

    I call them Barrel Crackers

300 grain hollow points coming out the end of my 4 inch barrel @ 1100 feet per second.

In my hands, could drop a charging elephant in it's tracks with one shot.

Everywhere I go, all the time loaded with one in the pipe and 13 more ready to go. Everywhere, all the time.

    Ok, I'm legit curious -

I assume, first, you're talking about Hodgdon CFE Pistol powder? Two, 300 grains. Sure, something starting with a 4. 1100 fps? 800 or so ft-lbs at the muzzle, or a pretty light load for a 44 mag. 13+1? with a 4" barrel? gotta be an autoloader. Glock 21 and 23 come to mind.

44 mag max sammi load is 8.7 grains of CFE (34800 psi). 45 ACP +P is 23000 psi.

What the hell is holding together with that much pressure? Or do you cheat the pressure curve with the short barrel and throw a whole bunch of fire along with the lead? What autoloader is firing a 300 gr projectile?

Parents of one of the guys in my office had that happen. They were in a big conversion van. Guy waited on a big vehicle and they were the target.

Wife's aunt and uncle had someone pull out in front of them for the same reason. He wasn't successful.

Maybe a .50GI Glock conversion? Unless someone makes a 2011 with a double stack - I can't imagine stuffing 13 of those fuckers into a 1911 without a comically long mag.

Could be interesting, but that powder charge still seems huge.

*since 2009 the Desert Eagle is no longer made by Hebrews, but by Norwegian bachelor farmers in Lake Wobegon.
