Don't sell yourself short. There have been plenty of evenings when I have laughed myself to sleep reading posts where you, B Mills and others were riffing back and forth, probably three double scotches deep at the time.

I kind of love it when one of the og mags posts after an absence and a bunch of other rarely-seen ogs drop back in to say hey.

Lord knows you've earned it. Set some PTO aside and find a cold and snowy place to reconnect with what has been missed for so long

May you be blessed with many turns.

Shoot, I showed up in 2007 and thought it was non stop hilarity the first couple of years, but most of the funny people are gone now. Here is hoping you get a bunch of skiing in soon Frozen. I am pretty much retired now, so I am looking forward to a big season.

We all figured this out from scratch. There was no template for an online community. Plenty of triumphs, plenty of bullshit.

It turns out Aspen Extreme was right: skiing really is the easy part.

I find it cognitively dissonant that the people here and talking shit here have been so important to me over the years, but it’s nearly impossible to explain that to anyone outside the group.

I don't have any business in this thread of oldsters, cept maybe to suggest that the decline in post quality could potentially correlate with the shift away from the PC for forum posting.

Mobile app or Tapatalk. You could do it, too, with yer newphangled smartfone!

I wonder what the spread is. I bet most are now on mobile. I don't take the time to sit down at a PC unless I'm processing photos for a TR. Can't view the forum at work, either, so I'm 90% mobile.

    Ok, back to reminiscing

I'll be eligible for my 20 year pin in about 2 months. Fuck me! What happened?

Some serious laughs and coffee sprayed on a few keyboards because of this place. The first maggot I met was Rehabit. I saw a group of 3 or 4 people standing in front of the map at the top of the lift at Red Mountain so I slid up and asked for change for a nickle. I was so fucking surprised to have found the only other maggot on the mountain on my first attempt. Apparently he and I didn't check the board, Whitewater got snow so the plan changed.

I don't post much but I still lurk and laugh.

Last year was the first year since 1970 that I didn't put my skis on. I made up for it by riding my fat bike in the snow 80 days.

I remember that day -- I saw a bunch of mags at the lodge and -- poof -- they were gone. Never got the memo. It was good skiing with you that day.

You kids today. Jeez, you act like you know everything, like how bad the war is, how you should be able to grow your hair, do what makes you feel good, take drugs, like the establishment sucks and you can't trust anyone over 30.

Wow 20 years. Were you on the old k2 board? I feel like it went from there to PowMag. Could be wrong. Long time.
