FS: 2017 Transition Patrol mtb - large

2017 Transition Patrol - size large, alloy frame, sweet suspension

    SOLD SOLD SOLD

PRICE DROP bump to $2100 with Monarch, $2300 with DPX2 (as pictured). OBO + shipping. Located in Tahoe/NorCal.

    Here's the basic build:
Transition Patrol - size large. https://www.transitionbikes.com/Supp...Patrol%20Alloy

    Frame: aluminum
Fork: RockShox Lyrik/Yari. I Lyrik'd my Yari by swapping in the Lyrik damper (RCT3 Charger Damper) and the Lyrik's DebonAir spring. So, effectively, a Lyrik.
Shock: RockShox Deluxe. If you want the pimp upgrade, I will add the Fox Float DPX2 for $200 so I won't have to resell separately for $400. Highly recommended.
Brakes: SRAM Code R. Sweet modulation and stopping power. Top of the line DH brake for maximum control on descents.
Drivetrain: SRAM NX with SRAM GX shifter (can't remember why the better GX shifter)
Crank: SRAM 32T (should be replaced soon).
Cassette: e*13 TRSr 9-46T. Biggest gear range on the market. 200miles.
Dropper: RockShox Reverb with 1X trigger (175mm length).
Chain is new SRAM Eagle. 200 miles use.
    Grips: new ODI grips.
Wheels: Stan's Flow MK3 with DT Swiss 350 hubs. Upgrade to 54 tooth ratchet (ultra-fast engagement). Newish custom wheels handbuilt by a pro. 200 miles total. Best aluminum wheels on the market. The hub is way better than the stock Stan's Neo I just got on my new Patrol.
Tires: Maxxis Minion 27.5 set up tubeless of course.
Pedals: if you want em, we can discuss.

It's amazing for technical terrain, blasting flowy trails, and jumping (very poppy and ultra-plush suspension), but still climbs very well. It is not an ultra-light cross-country racing bike. It's a bike you can ride everyday, from all-day pedalfests (if you're strong) to the fastest technical terrain around to lift-served DH at Northstar or Mammoth. I've done 70 mile, 8k vert days and the Downieville XC race on this thing. Only selling because I upgraded to carbon frame!

Was $2200 with Monarch, $2400 with DPX2 OBO (as pictured) + shipping. Located in Tahoe/NorCal.

I would but I just bought an SBG carbon Patrol. And I need to empty the stables for a bit to allow for sufficient ski acquisition this season.
