I mostly ski on powder days at Snowbird (Upper Silver Fox, Wilber Bowl, Baldy) but still want a ski that is fast and stable on groomers for the non power days. I'm 5'11" and 150 lbs. Looking to downsize just a bit and go to something closer to 100-105mm in width, 180 cm in length, and 15-20 meter turn radius. Thanks!

    Thanks!
You should probably PM Greg at Alpine Zone, I think he’s your guy with the answers (seriously? I’m the first one to mention this?). Or just grab a Cochise in your appropriate length for your daily driver and a Supergoat for the soft days. Honestly I usually just show up with the S-goats most of the time and have been very happy. I’m a little heavier than you are though.

I am on my third pair of Deathwish and they are my everyday ski except on very hard snow days. At 112 they handle powder & soft great and I am a believer in TC on groomers. Bonafides are my other skis. I am going to try the Commander 98 this season as a possible replacement of the Bonafides. Moment has a rep in SLC (Murray) with demo's available.

Follow-up. I ended up buying the Fischer Ranger 102 FR in a 177cm, love them after several days of skiing them at Snowbird. For me at 150 lbs they float nice in the Powder (pic of Bounday Bowl) and rip turns on the groomers for a ski of this type.

    ^Looks like a stellar day

Any reason J Skis got knocked off your list of possible options? Not second guessing your choice but I'm in the market for somewhat of a similar ski. Love my Praxis for touring but they've become a bit pricey given the exchange

No real reason I can remember now, I still really like the J Ski Metal on paper and would love to try it some day.
