Robb Gaffney will always be a member of a pioneering community, probably one of its lead scouts- always looking at what was over that next ridge. Dr Robb helped more people on multiple levels in this region than any of us can imagine and inspired skiers worldwide. Maybe heaven is really like KT on a storm day, wide open and deep with no lift lines. Except some guy waiting at the bottom for Doc with a furry horned viking hat, a snow saucer and a bottle of Jack.

    Help Robb Gaffney

RIP(PER). Condolences to his friends and family. I loved his skiing style and huge smile on film. Like Coombs, had this “I want to ski with that guy” vibe. Jealous of anyone who got a chance to.

...to the next level. Where the last turn doesn't have to happen.

Sending strength and healing for the loss to the Gaffney Clan and extended community.

Robb’s IG page is tough to see….he fought so hard. Lotta honesty on his Instagram posts about approaching death.

Being a similar age/demographic (but not even close to the skiing skills) and still living with the fear of cancer recurrence, his IG page really hit home. In some ways I found it terrifying, in others, calming. Hard to describe.

The loss is greater when those lost touched us the deepest.
