Heh. I just watched that again yesterday.
Been on a gaffney film binge. The Shane energy is awesome in that one.
Big love to huckasoreass. I can’t imagine losing my own brother at such a young age. Not to mention the long road of cancer treatment that doesn’t work. Fuck cancer.

Personally, i'm gutted. Such a great, mad offpiste artiste. A blinding icon. Condolences to the Gaffney clan.

It really is horrible to see this.
As someone who lived in Tahoe, then left to be a weekend warrior, Robb was always an inspiration. He was someone who succeeded both in, and out, of skiing. One of my Tahoe buddies, who left for grad school (in his case medical school) a year before I did, once sent Robb a letter about the dream of being both a Dr. and a skier. Robb sent him a poster of 1999, signed. He said something like 'pursue your dreams, the Dr. is ill' or something similar. I always thought that was great.
I really hope Robb knows how much he has meant to how many people."Have you ever seen a monk get wildly fucked by a bunch of teenage girls?" "No" "Then forget the monastery."
"You ever hear of a little show called branded? Arthur Digby Sellers wrote 156 episodes. Not exactly a lightweight." Walter Sobcheck.
"I didn't have a grandfather on the board of some fancy college. Key word being was. Did he touch the Filipino exchange student? Did he not touch the Filipino exchange student? I don't know Brooke, I wasn't there."

It's truly awesome in the very sense that someone can make such a big footprint.

What an absolute legend. He was the reason so many moved west and was legitimately world famous in ski huts. Scott posted that he passed yesterday.
Rest easy, Robb.

In this case RIP means rip.
rip the next plane as hard as you ripped this one.
Thanks for keeping skiing fun and silly.
Strength and love to those left behind to feel the loss.
