Rheeder cased that jump so smoothly it almost looked intentional.

    Me too.

Lacondeguy, over stoked. Not really surprising I guess. He’s such an animal, hope he’s good for another run.

Man Reeder last a lot for that little case. Podium run otherwise.

    Do not envy the judges.

Fuck Andreu! Such an awesome, nail biting run! I’m super bummed he missed the last landing.

Oh Man. He left it all on the hill for sure. The exposure on that recovery!

He gets my fan fav vote.

Just watched replay of where he went off line, if he didn’t recover that he could have tumbled off a 100 footer.

    Yeah that was high stakes.

Glad to see Nell finish. That hip case’ll hurt his score. Dang his tire’s flat!

Why is Storch running tubes? Probably thinking it would help keep the tire on, I guess? That sucks!

Was wondering about that. Is it common for these guys? I guess it could help keep the tire on in theory but obviously didn’t help here. Hella pressure to based on how big it blew up.

The score doesn't say it, but he won the competition with his second run. Class act.

Totally, had to snub Lacondeguy and give him my people’s choice vote.

    hutchinson

That's what you get when you think enduro/downhill is the same tire. They don't even make a dh casing tire for the wheelsize he was running. So he's spinning 360s off 40ft drops on the shit you have on your trailbike. I hope that paycheck is worth it because that shouldn't have ended his run.

I'm glad godziek got the people's choice award. That's served as the fix for judging fuck ups some years, this included. There needs to be another one for reece wallace. Both of those guys did better second runs and got scored lower. I don't know what those guys were watching during Reece's runs but it obviously wasn't him. It's weird because other than 2-3 people, the judging seemed a little more realistic to me this year. I wasn't walking lines as they were being built though. Maybe they knew stuff.

Semenuk had a goddamn Exo Shorty on the front of his bike in the bike check I can somewhere (Vital?). I guess you can get away with it if you're that otherworldly smooth? But I'd sure want a DH tire for that.

Andreu is a maniac. His second run was unreal. Would have been very interesting to see how it got scored if he'd landed the last jump. I'd have given him like 20 bonus points for riding the whole thing at warp speed on the ragged edge, but maybe that's why I'm not a judge.

My opinion, that nobody asked for:
    1. Rheeder got waaaay to many points for just cleaning up his second run and shouldn't have rocketed up to second place.
    2. Lacondeguy should have won the McGazza. He's a beast.
    3. Brendog should have gotten best trick for flipping the canyon gap.

    Nein!

    one foot can

    flat drop

Plus front flip off the start curb

    Please reconsider.

I thought Reece Wallace was riding super solid. Im guessing it was just the unsculpted sections of his line that lowered his score. Tough job judging. That was a lot of good runs. Im tired after watching all that. So intense

Oh I’m sure my opinion isn’t popular. But if I look at Rheeders run and then I look at Semenuk back flipping onto that lily pad, I see waaay more than 1.3 points difference. One was an awesome Crankworks run and the other was a Rampage run.

An awesome crankworx run on the rowdiest terrain around with massive exposure.

I don't really take issue with any of the top scores. I could reorder numbers 2 through 6 or 7 a bit, but really all of those guys had badass runs that were podium worthy. Having not actually stood on the ground out there, I think it's fair to say the judging was pretty even handed.
