We are entering the last 6 hours of foliage season in Vermont. A Nor'easter is approaching this evening with big SE winds, heavy rain and summit snow, followed by backside wind from the NW. This will strip the leaves off and reveal Stick Season. It has been beautiful this fall.
Monday Evening
Sunrise today, cool and calm
The rest of the crop will soon join their friends on the ground. Going to miss them.

Tamarack time here in NE VT:
Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.
