The dogs or both Australian Cattle Dogs, the one on the left is a blue heeler and the one on the left is a red heeler. Same breed, they can either be red or blue. As for the water, it's formerly the largest open pit mine in the world - two 30+ foot ledges to get down to the water and the water itself is very cold as the hole is 700 deep, so not exactly the best place to swim. Very cool spot to walk around though, in the picture I'm up on one of the massive rock piles surrounding the mine
